The second quarter of 2022 demonstrated interesting trends for the top Film & Television apps in Belgium on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Disney+ saw its weekly revenue rise steadily, peaking at approximately $104K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 18.5K in mid-April and settling around 14.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a general upward trend, growing from 450K in late March to about 471K by the end of June.

Netflix experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $42K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed considerable variability, with a notable dip in mid-April at 8.4K and a recovery to 14K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter strongly at 1.17M.

GoPlay had consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 17.7K in early April and declining to 5.4K by the last week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 71K in late March and ending at 71.5K.

Amazon Prime Video exhibited a gradual increase in weekly revenue, which peaked at about $10.3K at the end of June.
